Start coaching in your first month of training, and gain your certification within 3 months (unlike major tertiary providers where you may take up to 3 years to graduate, in predominantly theoretical based training.)

Our students

Our students come from a wide variety of backgrounds. No career development or coaching experience is required to become a career coach; our programme gives you everything you need! Some students are new to career coaching; others have completed other coach training programs and want to develop a career coaching specialty; still others are counsellors who desire to add the results-orientation and solutions focused emphasis of coaching to their skill set. We also attract internal coaches in major corporations, psychologists, human resource personnel, managers, executives, management consultants and others who want to learn career coaching.

As coaches, we believe the client has the answers they need within them. Professional facilitation and the timely suggestion of new ideas and creative exploration by the coach reveals these answers so the client can act upon them. The Worklife Solutions  Coach Institute's philosophy of career development and life coaching, as well as our Fast Track! ™ coaching model, are based on these core principles.

We believe that individuals will be most fulfilled, and companies will be most productive, when each individual discovers, integrates and acts upon their true self and the things that give their life meaning. This means discovering and combining life purpose and life goals, personal values, interests, skills, passion, and experience into desired career options that offer long term satisfaction and and a viable financial future doing work they love to do.

We believe that the old vocational guidance model of matching people to roles is outdated and no longer serves individuals effectively. We believe that the key to individuals career resilience and sound career management programmes lies in adopting more creative, and lateral approaches to solving career issues.

How do I learn to coach?

The best way to learn coaching is to combine action and reflection. Our programmes offer both! We provide specific training in the underlying theory of best practise coaching principles and practices, combined with actual hands-on practice doing coaching. Finding ” practice clients” can be challenging. Our training is unique because, unlike many other training schools, we will refer practise clients to you if you desire.
